We are usually looking for the following types of pianos.
Steinway or Mason and Hamlin Grands or Consoles
Most Types of Baby Grands (1880 - 1960)
Consoles, studio uprights & Spinets (1930 - 2000)
We do not buy older (large) uprights or square grands.

Appraisals
Our many years of experience, as well as our familiarity with various current markets within the eastern United States, allow us to give extremely accurate appraisals for insurance purposes or if you are trying to sell your piano.
However, we would suggest that very rare old pianos in original condition or pianos with a specific or significant historical past be appraised by qualified antique appraisers. Our expertise is evaluating pianos in the context of their marketability as a musical instrument only.
Appraisal Cost: $80.00 in Mecklenburg County (appraisal only) or $25.00 when performed with any other on-site service by CPS.
Add $40.00 for Adjoining Counties
Or Add $3.00 Per Mile From Mecklenburg County Line (One Way)
for any distance to your piano.
